Registration
The 2011 Summer School has been made possible with the generous financial support of the International Political Science Association, the University of São Paulo, and a variety of public sector research funding agencies. As a result of this support, there will be no tuition charge. However, students will be responsible for their own expenses in São Paulo, including travel to and from São Paulo, room and board, transportation and entertainment.
Successful applicants will also be expected to deposit a non-refundable registration fee to guarantee their place in the Summer School. Because the registration fees are a guarantee of student enrollment and will be used to plan and pay for certain expenses prior to the Summer School, registration fees cannot be reimbursed under any circumstances. Students who are accepted must reserve their space by paying their registration fee no later than midnight on November 29, 2010. After that date, the selection committee will fill any remaining and unreserved spaces with those candidates next in line on the admissions list. The registration fees are as follows*:
| Graduate students (M.A. and Ph.D. candidates): | US$300 |
| Professors at institutions of higher education: | US$600 |
| Members of the private sector: | US$1,000 |
(*) Registration fees for Prof. Goertz and Prof. Young's individual one-week courses will be half as great as those for the full, two-week courses.
